When you are preparing to do business online, one thing you will need to determine is the demand for the product. In other words, does anyone really want what you have to offer?
There are various tools online to help you analyze commonly used search terms (like Google Keyword Planner). Let’s look at one that we talked about in a recent webinar – soovle.com
Soovle.com lets you type in a possible search phrase and see what terms appear across several major search engines. Click on one of the terms to be taken to the results page on a particular search engine, and in the upper part of the page you will see how any results there are.
A low number of results and few keyword options is a red flag – there is little interest or demand for what you are offering.
You can also use this tool to choose the best keywords for your campaign.
