I am sharing some tips on my blog this week to help you have success with my methods. My last blog post was about being consistent, and today’s will address another common mistake.
Mistake #2: Not following the directions.
When I answer questions live as part of the Forever Cash Gold Club, sometimes I surprised by the questions that people ask. While I’m a believer that there is no such thing as a dumb question, I have to say that I’m a little disheartened when folks ask questions that show they aren’t following the directions.
For example, a person using my Land Profit Generator program might ask me why they aren’t getting more phone calls from their mailing list. After conversing a little with them, imagine my surprise when I find out they are sending letters to a densely-populated urban area instead of focusing on a 50 mile radius like I teach in the LPG! How can they expect the results I talk about when they don’t follow the directions?
I also think about people who complain about low response rates, when – instead of getting a list from the county like I teach – they use the same list as a hundred other investors.
I don’t claim to be perfect, but my methods are the result of a lot of hard work and lots of trial and error on my part. Before I can teach a method or sell an educational program, I have spent lots of time making sure that it works and the results can be repeated over and over again.
But if you want to get the same results I have gotten, you have to take the same steps that I have taken. In other words, you have to follow the directions.
I don’t think it’s asking too much.
